What types of Measured Building Surveys do Scope Surveys provide?

We can provide a full measured building survey, or area surveys complete with area reports including Gross External Area (GEA), Gross Internal Area (GIA) and Net Internal Area (NIA) in accordance with the 6th edition of the RICS (The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) code of measuring practice. The GEA is the area of a building measured externally at each floor level.

GIA – Gross Internal Area
GIA is the area of a building measured to the internal face of the perimeter walls at each floor level.

NIA is the usable area within a building measured to the internal face of the perimeter walls at each floor.
